Microbiological safety cabinets
HERAsafe®. For work with biological material with low to moderate hazard potential - e.g. tests with micro-organisms in accordance with EN 12469. Laminar air flow protects samples from contamination and allows work under aseptic conditions. TÜV tested and certified in accordance with DIN 12950 Section 10, HSP models additionally approved to DIN 12980. Provide personnel, product and environment protection, and against cross-contamination. Allow easy decontamination and disinfection. Multi-pane, non-reflecting, 7 mm thick safety glass. Patented, aerosol-tight, sealing front window, with work opening approx. 200mm high. Built-in connections for DOP / DEHS regular filter checks. Inlet and exhaust air filters are class EU 14 ULPA, filtration efficiency 99.999 % for particles of 0.3µm and above. 24-month guarantee. Supply requirements: 230 V 50 Hz.

Connection for UV-C lamp, multi-pane safety glass, side panes with 23 mm Ø cable port sealed with stoppers, GF 1 suction guard, flammable gas tap for optional left or right assembly in the side panel.

HSP models with additional HEPA filter stage:
HERAsafe-Plus with prefilter: Generally as HS models, but additionally with HEPA pre-filter, for work with high hazard potential, e.g. cytostatic preparations, and wherever changing filters with a low-contamination risk and the disposal of large amounts of hazardous waste causes problems.

Includes support frame, prefilter installation, installation testing and training.
