The devices comes with an automatic temperature compensation (ATC; model dependent) and measures the sample temperature between +5°C and +60 °C.
The waterproof (protection class IP 65) 1- or 2- channel devices are used in the fields of Food and Beverage (alcohol sugar, salt and starch content), the environmental area (sea water) and in the industrial sector (glycol/coolant concentration). Operation is extremely simple and a zero point check is easily done by the user with distilled water. The handy devices are provided with a one and a half digit digital display and the included 2 x AAA (LR03) batteries typically last for 10,000 measurement values. The prism dish contains up to 0.3ml.
