Universal Tubes, 2 ml Nuncä with internal thread and 2D barcode
Thermo Scientificä Nuncä 2.0 ml Internally-Threaded Universal Tubes are ideal both for a large storage system like a biobank, and in smaller scale for traditional cryostorage. Sample identity is ensured due to a permanently attached 2D barcode on each tube and permanent laser etching of the rack. All tubes and racks are supplied free from DNA, RNase, DNase, and endotoxins.

Secure Tracking
-Permanently-bonded,unique 2D barcode laser-etched onto the base of tube to securely identify and track samples
-2D barcode readers instantly scans each tube's 2D barcode, registering the tube in any application or database, or integrates via several export options
-Tubes include white writable space for sample information in addition to, or instead of using 2D barcodes

Stringent Quality Control
-Every 2D barcoded storage tube is scanned to ensure readability
-Barcodes are checked against database of previously-assigned codes to prevent duplicates
-Every tube has a Sterility Assurance Level of 10-6 and is made with class VI medical grade resins
